Victoria + Albert adds new back-to-wall basins to popular Vetralla collection
Victoria + Albert has expanded its Vetralla collection with new D-shaped back-to-wall basins, which have been launched in response to demand for more personalised bathrooms and sculptural basins.
They feature the same distinctive square angled design as the freestanding bath within the collection. With a flat back edge that sits flush against the wall for a watertight seal, the basins are compatible with Victoria + Albert's Kit 22 bottle trap, providing a neat solution for exposed plumbing and a cohesive design aesthetic.
Emma Joyce, head of product marketing at Victoria + Albert, said: “We’re seeing strong demand for bathroom products that combine statement design with everyday practicality. As floating vanity units continue to grow in popularity, the new Vetralla back-to-wall basins offer a striking yet space-conscious design solution making them ideal for compact bathrooms, en-suites and other contemporary schemes where every centimetre counts.”
Available in 500mm and 600mm sizes, the ergonomic basins are available in a gloss or matt finish. The exterior can also be specified in more than 200 RAL colours, allowing homeowners and designers to either coordinate with existing schemes or create a striking focal point. Sculptural yet practical, the basins are available with one or three tap holes to accommodate a range of brassware configurations. For those who prefer wall-mounted taps, and would like to keep the ledge clear, they can also be specified without holes.
