The KBSA has revealed that its foundation membership is proving a popular option for new KBB showrooms, with a total of four businesses taking up this membership last month.
The retailers include Eat Soak Sleep based in Rugby, Homefront Design UK in Taunton, Andover Bathroom Collection in Andover, and Westfield Kitchens who have a showroom in Glasgow.
Foundation membership is open to KBB showrooms that have been established for at least six months, but have not been in business for the required two years to apply for full membership. It offers retailers all the benefits of membership, and support from the KBSA during their foundation period, at a reduced fee due to the support of corporate members.
KBSA national chair Richard Hibbert, pictured, said: “I am delighted to welcome these four new showrooms into the KBSA. Our foundation membership offers many tangible benefits to a new business, the support of our partners, networking opportunities with other members and substantial cost savings on essential services.
“New showrooms are not necessarily inexperienced, as is the case with these retailers. They all have many years of experience in interior design or the kitchen industry, and are able to offer the high standards of service customers expect from a KBSA member.”
