KBBFocus director Darren Summerfield honoured at SBID Awards 2021

Darren Summerfield, the commercial director and co-founder of KBBFocus, has been honoured at this year's Society of British and International Interior Design Awards and named SBID Industry Hero 2021. 
 
The award was presented to Darren in recognition of his role as a 'respected champion of UK trade for the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry in media and publishing'. It was presented to him by Dr Vanessa Brady OBE, founder and CEO of SBID, at a glittering ceremony at the Nobu Hotel in London's Portman Square on 22nd October. The event shone a spotlight on global design talent, and was attended by over 400 guests.
 
Darren said: "I am honoured and overwhelmed to have received this great award and been named SBID Industry Hero 2021. The kitchen and bathroom industry – along with the wider design community – is a world I have been privileged to work in for many years now, and one that I passionately support. It is brimming with design talent, and these awards do such a fantastic job of both recognising this and empowering those achievements. I would like to thank Vanessa Brady and all at SBID for this wonderful accolade, and for all the work they do."
