Quooker partners with UKE to supply ex-display products

Quooker has announced the launch of its latest sustainability initiative by partnering with the Used Kitchen Exchange (UKE) to supply ex-display and pre-owned taps. UKE supplies approved used and ex-display kitchens, and offers a pre-owned ‘trade-in’ within the industry to help users make environmental savings and a more ethical choice.

From this month, Quooker is to become an official supplier on the UKE platform. Additionally, all Quooker taps purchased through UKE will be re-serviced and tested to ensure they are in working order before being put on sale. To give customers added peace of mind, all taps will come with an official Quooker 12-month warranty.

Quooker MD Stephen Johnson, pictured on the left with Helen Lord from UKE, said: "Our partnership with UKE allows more people to enjoy the revolutionary benefits of a Quooker tap, alongside the more sustainable lifestyle that comes with it, at a more affordable price. By becoming an official supplier to UKE, we also reduce the amount of waste that comes from our dealers and retailers nationwide. Our pre-loved taps now get the chance of a second home which we could not be more delighted about."

Helen Lord from the UKE said: "We are delighted to have been chosen by Quooker to help them meet the growing consumer demand for sustainable products. Through Stephen Johnson’s thought leadership, Quooker is taking a circular approach to sales which is setting a clear benchmark within our industry and we couldn’t be prouder to be partnering with them on their sustainability journey."

Stock availability will depend on the rate at which showroom refurbishments occur.
