Elica to unveil Open Suite modular system at KBB Birmingham in March

Extraction brand Elica is to use the forthcoming KBB Birmingham show, which is set to take place at Birmingham's NEC from 6th - 9th March, to exhibit its new Open Suite modular system for the first time in the UK.

Designed by Fabrizio Crisà, director of the Elica Design Centre, Open Suite and Open Suite Superior (as the island version is known) come in wall-mounted 80cm and 160cm modules, which can be customised to create statement extraction and add a new dimension in kitchen design. The aspiration and lighting modules can be configured with a wide selection of shelving: glass (light or smoke), metal, black wire mesh, walnut, and customisable to match kitchen finishes. The company says that the height of the island version is adjustable to allow installation in any room, regardless of the height of the ceiling.

The LED panel not only provides task lighting while cooking but can also create ambient lighting for entertaining family and friends with the Dim Light feature, which regulates brightness and the Tune White feature that adjusts the LED colour from cool white to warm tones.

With its powerful extraction unit and environmentally friendly long-life filters – which are regenerable for up to three years – Elica says that Open Suite ensures both maximum odour filtering performance levels and low running costs.

Additionally, through the voice assistant or the Elica Connect App, it is possible to switch the appliance on or off, regulate the extraction power level and adjust light brightness. With the app, filter efficiency and maintenance can be monitored, and any type of assistance may be requested in just a few simple clicks.
