After an unprecedented two years, KBB Birmingham is back – Lisa Hibberd gets a sneak preview of what visitors to the show can expect from some key bathroom players.

Europe’s largest dedicated kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms exhibition, KBB Birmingham, is returning to the NEC from 6th-9th March 2022. The show will feature over 300 exhibitors across 26 different product categories, displaying the very latest innovations and cutting-edge design, and the event is expecting an audience of over 15,000 visitors over the four days, attracting senior decision makers from the residential, retail and contract sector.

“There's a huge range of bathroom products to discover at this year’s KBB Birmingham – all under one roof,” comments sales director of the show, Jon Johnston. “From bathroom furniture and accessories to components, surfaces and sanitaryware, KBB Birmingham will be showcasing the newest and most forward-thinking designs from over 200 exhibiting brands. All the latest bathroom trends will be shared by our exhibitors. State-of-the-art bathroom technology will also be on show, including the very latest non-contact bathroom products as consumer demand for touchless technology increases. Visitors will also be able to learn about the most cutting-edge smart bathroom innovations and sustainable solutions. KBB Birmingham offers an unbeatable opportunity for our community to meet in-person with valued partners, colleagues and visitors – we can’t wait to welcome everyone back and provide thousands of visitors with the inspiration and product innovations they need to take them into the year ahead.” 

1 – Maintaining its commitment to innovation, Acquabella will presenting a number of new collections which have been developed over the past two years, including the showstopping Opal Quiz bathtub

 

2 – Riobel, the new addition to House of Rohl’s other brands, will be making the most of its first opportunity to showcase its products in the UK, outside of its London showroom. kbb Birmingham will see Riobel present four bathroom ranges, including the award-winning Parabola collection

 

3 – Perrin & Rowe will be displaying its new Langbourn collection – a contemporary range to suit a wide range of bathroom styles, made by hand to the highest possible standards at its foundry in the Black Country

 

4 – Tile distributor Verona hopes to impress with two new tile collections on its stand at the show. Vincent, shown here, offers a star motif with timeless appeal, and is available in three colourways. This design features a range of subtly different background designs, so the overall look is less uniform and more artisanal

 

5 – Mirrors, storage and accessories specialist Origins Living (formerly Bathroom Origins) has designed and created a stylish, contemporary stand to showcase a hand-picked selection.
 Highlights include carefully curated illuminated and non-illuminated mirrors, shelving and accessories, to suit both residential and commercial projects. The bold and beautiful Ludgate mirror has a strong architectural profile and features a practical shelf

 

6 – Launching exclusively at KBB Birmingham, Showerwall’s new designs – including the Deco Tile in mustard – feature inspirations drawn from nature, delicate tiling details, and some playful creations for those looking for brighter, bolder designs. Its stand at the show will be very conceptual to give visitors an understanding of how the designs will translate to a real life setting, with five distinct zones that showcase the new collections

 

7 – As well as the new Ona collection, inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, Roca’s main focus will be to showcase its innovative new smart toilet, In-Wash® In-Tank®. It’s an all-in-one WC, bidet and cistern, which combines maximum hygiene with greater freedom of installation

 

8 – KBB Birmingham offers the perfect opportunity for Italian kitchen and bathroom furniture manufacturer, Scavolini, to showcase a number of key collections from its impressive product portfolio. Representing bathrooms will be the Formalia bathroom collection, which is inspired by the Formalia kitchen range

 

9 – Alongside some of its existing ranges, including Domo, shown here, Davroc’s Coalbrook brand will be launching two new ranges of bathroom essentials – the Bank and Zurich collections. Bank was inspired by British engineering at its finest when designers stumbled upon a cross-handle whilst tinkering under the bonnet of a pre-war Rolls Royce Phantom

 

10 – Merlyn will be showcasing revo – its multi-functional, designer shower system which meets the increased consumer demand for stylish yet functional storage solutions
