As part of its ongoing efforts to encourage the uptake of eco-friendly practices for the future of the planet, InSinkErator is sponsoring the Unified Water Label Association (UWLA) Sustainable Initiative of the Year category at the KBBFocus Awards & Celebration event. As the inventor of food waste disposers and a major player in the specialist kitchen tap market, InSinkErator is an active campaigner in encouraging the prevention of avoidable food waste, and the reduction of single-use plastic waste.
The 2022 KBBFocus Awards will celebrate the best product innovations, projects and designs of the year as well as award the top independent specialist retailers and the initiatives of the KBB industry. The winners of the award categories will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony on 1st December 2022 at The Brewery in London.
The Sustainable Initiative of the Year category was created by KBBFocus, and the UWLA, to acknowledge and honour brands, or retailers, that are driving the effort to communicate sustainability messaging to consumers. While the UWLA was formed to campaign for the use of the Unified Water Label to highlight the water efficiency of products, the UWLA Sustainable Initiative of the Year category has extended entries to include a variety of sustainability projects.
