Offering a fresh interpretation of one of interiors’ most enduring natural stone trends, Maximus Travertine Crosscut Osso from RAK Ceramics is a large-format porcelain collection that combines the warmth and organic character of travertine with the practical benefits and design versatility of porcelain.

Inspired by cross-cut travertine, the collection offers a softer interpretation of the natural stone, with subtle tonal movement and multicolour nuances bringing depth and character to floors and walls. Available in White and Light Beige, the range provides a versatile foundation for contemporary schemes, complementing natural woods, warm metals and earthy finishes.

As part of the new Osso travertine offering, Crosscut Osso has been developed to co-ordinate with Maximus Travertine Osso, allowing designers to combine the 2 interpretations within the same scheme. The shared colour palette means the vein-cut and cross-cut surfaces can be used together to introduce variation and visual interest while maintaining a cohesive overall aesthetic.

Four formats are available – 60 x 120cm, 120 x 120cm, 120 x 280cm and 162 x 324cm – offering scope for a variety of applications, including flooring, feature walls and architectural surfaces. The generous slab formats are particularly suited to creating a sense of continuity across larger areas, while the more traditional tile formats offer flexibility for residential and commercial interiors.

The collection also features co-ordinating striped décor in White and Light Beige, providing an opportunity to introduce a subtle linear element to a scheme. Maximus Travertine Crosscut Osso incorporates Sync Effect digital structure technology, creating a tactile relief across the surface. The digitally applied structure enhances the depth and authenticity of the stone design, reinforcing the natural character of the travertine-inspired finish. Suitable for floors, walls and architectural applications, it helps designers create interiors that feel warm, sophisticated and connected to natural materials.
