The jury of the German Design Award 2023 has commended Duravit for its outstanding product and interactive design five times, the bathroom manufacturer has revealed. The company was crowned 'winner' three times – firstly for its Tulum tap series by Philippe Starck, secondly for its recyclable shower tray Sustano, and thirdly for its tap brochure.
It also received two 'special mentions'. The first was in the Excellent Communications Design – Integrated Campaigns and Advertising category for its Duravit No. 1 complete bathroom series. The next one was for its Design Days 2022 digital event.
Finally, its Zencha complete bathroom series by designer Sebastian Herkner, pictured, won Gold – the highest accolade – for its outstanding design quality in the category Excellent Product Design – Bath and Wellness.
