Global brand for complete bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings, Grohe, has collaborated with acclaimed eco practice, Giles Miller Studio on its conceptual woodland home project, Woven, pictured. The practice specified premium kitchen and bathroom fittings for the project to conserve water and complement the design-lead eco interiors.
Giles Miller Studio, run by Sarah-Jane and Giles Miller, is renowned for creating artistically focused surfaces, architecture, and sculpture, bringing new meaning to spaces by celebrating the relationship between materials, light and nature. Woven has been thoughtfully designed to fully immerse its resident in nature and is done through both form and function with a unique, sculptural ‘woven’ surround that encourages nature to grow on and throughout it.
Speaking on selecting and specifying Grohe for the project, Sarah-Jane stated: “The house was built to be a retreat, a place for sanctuary and happiness, where friends and family can share lovely moments. The kitchen acts as the heart of any home, while the bathroom is essential for a sense of wellness. Installing design led products which were contemporary in style, sustainable in nature and effortlessly functional was of the utmost importance and we are pleased to say that through collaborating with Grohe we have achieved this.”
