The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has revealed the finalists for the 2023 Sustainability Awards. The judging panel, which consisted of journalists, industry experts, academics, and NGO representatives, praised the dedication and commitment to sustainability demonstrated across various initiatives and products.
The finalists are as follows:
The Carbon Reduction Award – sponsored by KBBFocus
Lakes Showering Spaces
Hamberger Sanitary GmbH
Kohler Mira (Recoup programme)
The Water Efficient Innovation Award – sponsored by UWLA
Cistermiser (Direct Flush Discreet)
The Open Award – sponsored by Installer/ Elemental
Tom Reynolds, the BMA’s chief executive, said: “Our judges have again had a difficult decision to make, and I am grateful for their integrity and effort taken to analyse each entry. The journey our industry is on to minimise its impact on our planet isn’t an easy path, but the various initiatives and products we’ve witnessed through the judging process signal the incredible advances we are making. Our sector should be proud of that.”
Winners will be announced at the grand gala awards dinner, which is due to take place on 10th October at Cheshire’s Carden Park Hotel as part of the BMA’s Annual Industry Conference.
