The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has welcomed three new honorary officers to its expert board. As a trade body run by its members for its members, the BMA Board includes an array of experts and senior figures from within the sector. The association says that their extensive knowledge and deep understanding help to guide it in its activities, from addressing and improving sustainability and compliance to the challenges presented by ever-shifting market forces.
The new board members, Julie Mclean, marketing director at Hansgrohe UK & Ireland, Mike Gahir, MD at Lakes Showering Spaces and Steve Forbes, MD at STH Westco, will bring the total number of board members to 13.
BMA Chief Executive Tom Reynolds said: “The new board members will bring an additional perspective and expert views on the future of the sector and the association. The BMA membership has grown considerably this year, and their industry insights will be invaluable in the coming years. This will especially be the case as we navigate the many changes taking place in manufacturing and the policy landscape at the moment.”
Mike Gahir said: “It’s a great honour for me to join the Bathroom Manufacturers Association board, and I am looking forward to contributing to the excellent work being carried out. Lakes are big supporters of the BMA, and we appreciate the work they do to bring the industry closer together. By focusing on the big issues, such as sustainability and product compliance, we can help give bathroom manufacturers the voice they deserve.”
Julie Mclean, marketing director at Hansgrohe UK & Ireland, said: “The Bathroom Manufacturers Association is a well-respected trade body that has worked incredibly hard to ensure it represents the views of our industry and its members.
