Walter Scherz becomes new chief financial officer of the Franke Group



Walter Scherz will be the designated chief financial officer of the Franke Group and member of the management board as of 1st September, 2024. He succeeds Juerg Fischer, who will retire at the end of August 2024 after 19 years.

Scherz is a proven financial expert with many years of international management experience. He has been a member of the management board since 2020 and was CFO of the Finance & Shared Services corporate function. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at the Dätwyler Group in various management roles. He began his professional career at KPMG, where he worked as an external auditor and in other functions with international assignments.
