TKC invests further in operational capabilities at Denton HQ

TKC has completed its latest round of investment to enhance operations at its HQ in Denton, Greater Manchester. The company says this strategic spend will bolster manufacturing capabilities and further increase product choice across its in-frame and paint to order ranges.

The investment includes the acquisition of 2 state-of-the-art multi functional routering machines. This investment is part of TKC’s expansion into manufacturing, enabling the production of high-quality in-frame effect doors for its brand new Contour door collection.

The company has also made a further significant investment in its in-house spray facility with improvements to its clean room, including enhanced dust filtration systems. In 2022 the company undertook a £1m upgrade and extension of their existing in-house spray facility placing the company in a leading position to supply high quality paint to order doors to meet rising customer demand for customised kitchens.

36 colours are available in the standard Paint to Order palette, while customers also have the option of over 2600 bespoke colours. The Paint to Order palette and bespoke service are available across ten of TKC’s traditional Shaker and contemporary handless door ranges, which include solid timber and MDF options. The Paint to Order ranges are: Ascot, Cartmel, Cambridge, Grantham, Lucente Matt, Newmarket, Rydal Vivo+ Matt, Vivo+ Matt for the Vero system and Windsor.

TKC CEO Roy Saunders said: “We’ve had a fantastic reaction to our Contour Collection and I’m convinced it’ll have a hugely positive impact on our business and allow our customers to convert more sales leads. Our in-house paint to order facility is providing customers with a with an ultra-smooth finish on MDF based ranges, equivalent to the standard of our stocked offer. Our quality on all ranges is now the best it’s been during my tenure at TKC and something the team should be very proud of. These operational enhancements are part of our ongoing programme to improve and expand TKC’s operations into manufacturing and to be consistent with our one of company values, to always be improving.”
