Head of recruitment at Simon Acres Group (SAGL) Ben Paine is set to run 874 miles – the equivalent of Land’s End to John O’Groats – in a bid to raise money for a cancer charity.
Ben will donate the money raised from his run to BacZac, a charity that supports young people with cancer by providing grants, high-street gift cards and food vouchers.
Ben said: “The COVID pandemic has been devastating for BacZac, with the majority of fundraising activities cancelled. They need our help to achieve their long-term goal of providing a respite home for patients and bereaved families.
“I know that there are many worthy causes that need help right now but I am calling on my colleagues in the industry to join me in supporting these young people with cancer who desperately need our help. Any form of donations will be a huge help.”
