WEX Trade, the worktops trade specialist, has appointed Shawn Buckle as national account manager, to lead its national sales team. Shawn brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent almost 20 years in the worktop industry to date, most recently at Maxtop Quartz, initially as regional sales manager before subsequently becoming national sales and e-commerce manager. Prior to that he kickstarted his career at Bushboard as a key account manager.
He will lead a team of regional account managers covering the whole of the UK and is currently recruiting for a team member to look after customers in the Southeast region. With his combination of expertise building both brands and sales teams alongside his extensive knowledge of the industry from both a technical perspective and an installer point of view, WEX Trade says Shawn will be central to the company’s continued evolution.
