Paolo Bertazzoni, CEO and President of Bertazzoni, the Italian company famous in the world for producing kitchen appliances, has been awarded the prestigious title of 'Cavaliere del Lavoro' (Knight of Labor) by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
The honour, presented 31st May 2024, has been conferred annually since 1901 to maximum 25 entrepreneurs, both men and women, who have significantly contributed with their business activities to the promotion of the national economy and, with a high level of commitment to ethical and social responsibility, to the improvement of the living and working conditions in the country.

Born in 1955, Paolo Bertazzoni has been the CEO of Bertazzoni since 1999 and represents the 5th generation. Founded in 1882 by Francesco Bertazzoni in Guastalla (RE), one of the first registered brands in Italy in the industrial field, Bertazzoni is the oldest family-owned appliance company in the world, with over 140 years of history and listed in the Italian Register of Historic Enterprises. Today, the company operates in the historic Guastalla plant, where it produces more than 200,000 units per year, and has 7 commercial branches across Europe, Australia, Asia, and the US. It exports to 60 countries and employs around 250 people.
