The new Ecora shower tray from Villeroy & Boch is made from the company's innovative PureBase composite material, which is made from recycled granulated marble, calcium carbonate and reclaimed production surplus.

The range contains around 45% less resin than conventional acrylic shower trays and is completely fibreglass-free. Residue from production process is crushed and used as a valuable filling agent in new shower trays – a closed circuit that significantly reduces material consumption. At the end of its service life, Ecora can be completely recycled and used as a high-quality secondary raw material in applications such as road building and the construction of high-rise buildings.

Ecora features a rimless design and a 35mm profile. The shower tray can be integrated level with the floor for an end result that blends seamlessly with the floor. One creative detail making its debut in the Villeroy & Boch range is the oval outlet cover, which is flush with the surface in the same colour as the shower tray. With a drainage rate of around 48 litres per minute, its performance exceeds other standard options.
For additional flexibility, there are 3 installation options: flush-fitting in the floor, slightly raised on tiles or as a deliberately raised feature. It is available in the company's colours, 3 finishes, and a wide selection of sizes, so the shower tray is versatile enough to work in any space. Ecora also pairs well with the wider Villeroy & Boch Skyla collection.
