Martin Mongan, CEO of Bristan Group, has announced his intention to retire from his role at the end of the year. His successor has been named as chief marketing officer Jen Cassidy, who will take the role of CEO from 1st January 2025, and will be working closely with Mongan over the next 9 months to transition into the role. She is said to have a clear focus on the customer and a drive to maintain Bristan’s position in the UK taps and showering market, that Mongan has built on the past success of the business.
Cassidy joined Bristan as chief marketing officer in August 2021 following a career that includes senior roles with Wolseley, Kohler Mira and more latterly, Linn Products. Since joining Bristan, she has been instrumental in providing leadership across a broad range of functional areas, from brand and channel marketing to product design and management, sales, customer service, IT, and PMO. Her ability to effectively lead and inspire cross-functional teams has consistently resulted in improved team performance and business outcomes. Her demonstrated focus on leadership and aligning teams around common goals to deliver impact has uniquely set her apart and will be key to continuing the success of Bristan in the future.
“I am delighted to be able to hand over my role to Jen and look forward to working alongside her for the next few months as she transitions into role. The powerful message it sends, not only promoting from within the business, but also that Bristan Group has its first female CEO is a legacy I am extremely proud of,” said Mongan.
“Having fallen in love with Bristan Group and its extremely talented people from the moment I joined, I am honoured to be given the opportunity to lead the business, to build on Martin’s work and to continue to deliver on the company’s strategic roadmap,” said Cassidy.
Bristan Group is the home to 2 established brands – Bristan and Heritage Bathrooms. The Bristan Group has been part of the Masco Corporation, a US global homewares company, since 2002.
