BMA welcomes Faucets and Meir as latest members

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has announced that Faucets, a leading independent stockist and distributor of quality bathroom brassware and sanitary products for the UK, and Australia-based Meir, have joined the association.

Established in 1983, Faucets has earned a strong reputation in the UK market for its dedication to high-quality products and exceptional service. The company has joined as an affiliate member and is the sole distributor representing the multiple-award-winning, Australian, family-owned company Meir.

Meir, joining the BMA as a full member, is renowned for designing and manufacturing premium architectural taps and bathroom fixtures in a range of modern finishes. Since its inception in 2012, the Meir brand has become synonymous with luxury and quality, producing showers, taps, sinks, and more. Each piece is crafted utilising DZR brass and premium European parts from Switzerland, Hungary, and Spain, which ensures a lifetime warranty on its products.

Tom Reynolds, the BMA’s chief executive, said: "We are thrilled to have Faucets Ltd and Meir join the BMA. Both companies’ commitment to quality and excellence aligns perfectly with the values we uphold. In addition, Meir’s water and energy-efficient designs align with our efforts to reduce our sector’s environmental impact. By joining our association, they will engage with a community dedicated to advancing the standards and sustainability of the bathroom industry. Their participation will undoubtedly enhance the offerings available to consumers, ensuring they have access to top-tier bathroom products."

Darren Taylor, MD at Faucets, pictured, added: "Joining a respected trade association like the BMA is crucial for us. It provides a platform where we can collectively voice our concerns and priorities, ensuring that the bathroom sector continues to thrive and innovate. We look forward to collaborating with other members and contributing to the association's efforts in advocating for the industry."

Paul Caneparo, Meir Australia UK MD, said: "Joining the BMA is an important step for Meir as we expand our presence in the UK market. We are committed to offering consumers high-quality, energy-efficient, and water-efficient products. The BMA provides a valuable platform to promote these values and work collaboratively with other industry leaders to drive innovation and sustainability in bathroom manufacturing."
