Perrin & Rowe to launch Southbank kitchen tap collection next month

Launching in September, Southbank by Perrin & Rowe is a tribute to the 1951 Festival of Britain designers, adopting their ideals to create a distinctive new brassware collection. Perfectly proportioned, with meticulous detail that references iconic pieces from the period, Southbank is said to epitomise midcentury modern style.

Like all Perrin & Rowe brassware, the Southbank is made at its Midlands foundry before being assembled in Rainham, just 15 miles east of London’s Festival Hall, the heart of the famous exhibition. Each tap is individually inspected and water tested before being shipped. The taps are designed to be straightforward to maintain, and Perrin & Rowe continues to stock spares for almost every tap it has ever made.

The new collection will be comprehensive from launch and available in 8 finishes: Chrome, Nickel, Pewter, English Bronze, 24-Carat Plated Gold and unlacquered Polished, Satin and Aged Brass. Alongside a bridge mixer and single-lever mixer, options include instant hot taps and filtration taps, a mini tap that dispenses both steaming hot water and filtered cold, a pot filler, and a soap dispenser.
