Novy, the Belgian luxury induction, extraction and lighting brand, will be presenting the latest addition to its induction portfolio, on Stand SB8 at the Church of Design, a new venue for Clerkenwell Design Week 2025. Working in partnership with Cosentino, the Undercover is an invisible induction hob that is completely integrated into a 20mm thickness Dekton worktop.
Discreet and minimalist, this is said to be an ideal option for architects, interior designers and kitchen designers seeking to create an invisible or camouflage kitchen aesthetic, where the major functional aspects of the kitchen are concealed to blend seamlessly with the living space.
The Novy Undercover is a 390 x 1070mm induction hob with powerful inductors that sit under the cover of the 20mm thick worktop material, enabling pans to sit directly on the worktop. The surface can either be on a kitchen island or peninsula with a depth starting at 600mm, or, alternatively, on a 600mm depth worktop above a run of base cabinetry against a wall, with more than 40 different durable 20mm thickness Dekton worktops to choose from.
Jenny Nalborczyk, marketing manager, Middleby Residential Luxury Channel, said: “Working with Cosentino to train its specialist fabricators, our R&D and technical teams in Belgium have invested years of research to ensure that the Novy Undercover is the most powerful invisible hob on the market. We are delighted to be presenting the Novy Undercover concept to architects and interior designers at Clerkenwell Design Week, in advance of its official launch in the Autumn.”
