Smeg adds six new wine coolers to collection

Italian appliance brand, Smeg, has added two new wine cooler models to each of its Dolce Stil Novo, Linea and Classic collections. The new additions offer 45cm and 82cm designs, fitting up to 21 and 38 bottles respectively.

The two latest sizes in Smeg's top-of-the-range Dolce Stil Novo line can be controlled via the brand's SmegConnect app. The coolers' two independent temperature zones can be controlled in this way, while other handy functions allow users to share wine lines and pair recipes and wines. For true wine connoisseurs, an optional 'sommelier' drawer can be added. Aesthetically, the new models offer a glossy black front and LED lighting to display their contents.

The new Linea coolers offer an understated polished silver finish, complete with a smoothed handle and hidden internal display. Inside, removable and sliding oak racks preserve the bottles and provide storage flexibility, storing bottles both horizontally and vertically. As with the Dolce Stil Novo coolers, those wanting to up their wine game can opt for the addition of a 'sommelier' drawer.

Finally, the latest additions to the Classic range feature the product portfolio's distinctive slick stainless-steel finish. The aesthetic line, developed in conjunction with Italian architect Guido Canali, is known for its unique control knobs and handles found across the full range's items. In the two larger styles, the Classic back cover and an internal control panel both add to the coolers' minimalist finish.
