BSH UK & Ireland, the manufacturer of Bosch, NEFF, Siemens and Gaggenau, has announced that its CEO, Gunjan Srivastava, will be stepping down from the role. A successor will be announced at a later date.

Gunjan Srivastava, who has been with BSH for almost 12 years, will be leaving the company in January to pursue a new career opportunity. His first role with the company was as CEO and MD of BSH India where he was instrumental in building the organisation, its brand portfolio and sales and customer service infrastructure. During his 5 years as CEO, BSH India revenues surged, and it established itself as one of the significant home appliance companies in the country.

He then took up the role as head of region Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, before taking on his current position as CEO of BSH UK & Ireland in April 2020. Under his leadership, the subsidiary has strengthened its position in both the MDA and SDA markets with sustainable, profitable market share growth. He also led in the creation of its long-term strategy and successfully embedded a high-performance working culture across the entire UK & Ireland business.

Commenting on the announcement, Gunjan Srivastava said: “I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved in my time as CEO of the UK & Ireland business. Despite tough market conditions, we have continued to grow and gain market share, and that is a testament to the hard-working team we have. I would also like to thank all our trade partners for their commitment and support over the past 5 years. We have enjoyed great success together and I am sure that will continue in the years to come.”
