Everhot introduces new Wi-Fi enabled control system to all cookers
Everhot, the Cotswolds-based pioneer of electric heat storage range cookers, has announced the launch of its latest generation control system – bringing integrated Wi-Fi and smart energy features to all Everhot cookers.
The system enables homeowners to adjust cooker settings remotely through the Everhot app, providing greater flexibility and even more efficient use of energy. While the signature integrated controller continues to offer easy adjustment on the cooker, digital control introduces additional convenience for busy, modern households. Everhot says this innovation further reinforces its position as the heat-storage cooker of the future – without compromising the classic British aesthetic homeowners and designers love.
Built-in smart tariff integration, solar scheduling, and grid-aware technology allow Everhot cookers to work intelligently with renewable energy systems and changing energy prices. These features are designed to make the most of available power, avoid expensive tariffs, and support lower-carbon living.
The new technology automatically adjusts the cooker’s Eco setting to coincide with sunrise and sunset for maximum solar production. A delay option also allows homes with smaller solar arrays to heat the cooker later in the day, maximising self-generated power. With more smart tariffs entering the market, Everhot users can select their energy tariff directly in the app, enabling the cooker to adjust its Eco schedule by up to two hours when this is more cost-efficient. Designed for households generating their own power – or homeowners who want to support the national grid – this mode temporarily pauses energy consumption if a shortage is detected. When there is excess supply, the cooker can automatically store more heat by slightly increasing its temperature.
Graham Duke, sales director at Everhot, said: “This new Wi-Fi enabled control system represents a major milestone for Everhot. Homeowners increasingly want the charm of a traditional range cooker alongside the benefits of modern technology. By introducing Wi-Fi control, smart energy features, and deeper integration with renewable power, we have continued our commitment to efficiency while ensuring Everhot remains the most future-ready cooker available. We are incredibly proud to bring these new eco-friendly capabilities to our customers.”
