KBB Birmingham has announced its partnership with The Used Kitchen Company (TUKC) for the 6th year running, reinforcing the show’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility within the KBB industry. The collaboration, which has become a cornerstone of KBB Birmingham’s sustainability strategy, encourages exhibitors to sell their displays ahead of the show. This initiative is central to the show’s efforts to promote reuse and shift industry attitudes towards a circular economy.

Disposing of KBB products remains a major challenge, with thousands of kitchens discarded each year as homeowners renovate and showrooms update their displays. The Used Kitchen Company, founded over 20 years ago by Looeeze Grossman, is one of the UK's leading marketplaces for pre-owned and ex-display kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. By giving products a second life, it reduces the industry’s environmental impact and makes premium design accessible to a broader market.

Sam Fisher, pictured, event director at KBB Birmingham, commented: "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with The Used Kitchen Company for the 6th consecutive year. Sustainability is at the heart of KBB Birmingham, and this collaboration exemplifies our commitment to driving positive change within the industry. By encouraging exhibitors to sell their displays, we are not only reducing waste but also fostering a circular economy that benefits both the environment and the wider market. Together with TUKC, we are proud to champion innovative solutions that make sustainability a practical and achievable goal for the KBB sector."

Looeeze Grossman, founder of The Used Kitchen Company, added: "Six years on, we're seeing real momentum. Each show, we've seen increased engagement from exhibitors who recognise the value, both environmentally and financially, of selling their displays rather than writing them off. We're so proud to support kbb Birmingham in leading this change and look forward to building on our success at the 2026 show. Our partnership highlights how easily used and ex-display kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms can be recycled and given a second home, benefiting exhibitors, buyers, and the environment. With around 5 million tonnes of renovation products ending up in landfill each year, initiatives like this are making a real difference in reducing the industry’s environmental impact”
