The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) has announced the recent passing of former board member Angela Bower. Angela served on the KBSA board for over 5 years and was a highly respected and valued member of the association. Throughout her time with the KBSA, she made a significant contribution to both the organisation and the wider KBB industry, bringing both her experience and insight to bear.

During her time on the board, Angela was also a huge support in the organisation of the KBSA conference. This was a key part of her contribution, and she worked closely with the office team, offering hands-on help, guidance and encouragement at what is always one of the busiest times in the KBSA calendar.

Alongside her husband Jeremy, Angela ran Bower Willis Designs, a luxury kitchen and interiors design studio based in Warwickshire. Together they built a business renowned for its creativity, craftsmanship and professionalism, and Angela was widely admired for her passion for design and her generous support of others in the industry.

Angela was particularly dedicated to encouraging young people to pursue careers in the KBB industry. She believed strongly in nurturing new talent and championed initiatives that helped the next generation develop skills and seize opportunities within the sector. In recognition of this, and paying tribute to Angela’s outstanding contribution and lasting legacy, the KBSA will rename its Young Designer award as the Angela Bower Young Designer of the Year Award.

Richard Hibbert, chair of the KBSA, said: “Angela will be remembered not only for her professional achievements, but also for her kindness, enthusiasm and the positive impact she had on colleagues, members and peers across the industry. All of us at the KBSA extend our condolences to Jeremy, Angela’s and Jeremy’s families, their friends, and the dogs, Mika and Skylar, as well as all those who had the privilege of working with her. She will be much missed.”
