Howdens opens Waterloo depot as part of inner-city expansion
Trade kitchen supplier Howdens has opened the doors to its new depot in London’s Waterloo located at Howdens, Arches 149-152, Newport Street, London, SE11 6AQ, as the company expands its footprint, with more than 850 depots now open nationwide including urban and city locations.
The new opening has created 5 new local jobs, and carries stock in the depot including over 100 kitchen and fitted bedroom collections, from best on budget Shaker designs to premium modern slab styles, plus joinery, doors, flooring and more, all available to take away from local stock for best availability and convenience, saving tradespeople time on their jobs. Howdens makes its rigid cabinets in its own factories, and says they are easy to fit and built to last, backed by a 25-year cabinet guarantee.
The first 50 tradespeople visiting will receive a free tool theft marking kit, and those opening new accounts will have the chance to win a DeWalt power tool bundle worth over £600 when a new trade account is opened up to the 30th April, plus exclusive trade deals.
The opening will be followed by an exclusive trade day on Thursday, 30th April, when tradespeople can enjoy exclusive deals including; 3 for 2 on non-fire doors; 5 for 4 on all flooring; 10% off all skirting and arc; free kitchen delivery for any survey booked on the day, and a free brand new saw for the first 50 customers to bring in their old one – plus free food and drink and the chance to meet Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara.
Local tradespeople can take advantage of services such as the company’s free home measure and design service, Template and Fit solid surface worktops and Classic Timber Kitchens with 24 Paint to Order colours. Howdens is also the exclusive supplier of brands such as Lamona appliances, Oake & Gray flooring and their latest own brand launch, Fuller & Forge ironmongery.
Paul Massey, depot manager of Howdens Waterloo, said: “We’re buzzing to open in this bustling, new city centre location where we can offer convenience to our customers completing jobs in the area. Our expert team includes kitchen sales designers who can help bring customers’ jobs to life, along with in-stock availability and brilliant service.”
