Poggenpohl UK Group sales director takes over as new MD

Poggenpohl UK has announced a new MD, with affect from May 1^st, 2026. Former sales director, Scott Rotchell, will take on the new role with 15 years’ experience within the company. Incumbent Poggenpohl UK MD, Sharon Wallis, having served 6 years at the helm, is stepping down to set up an accountancy firm.

Scott brings a wealth of experience and deep-rooted knowledge of the business, having begun his career with Poggenpohl in August 2011. Most recently holding the position of sales director for Poggenpohl UK, Scott’s journey through the ranks has seen him enjoy many roles, offering a unique perspective as MD, where he can truly understand what it is to be in the shoes of his team.

Starting as a technical designer in the Wigmore Street studio, Scott quickly became a sales designer for the same showroom. Management was only a few years away, and in February 2016 Scott moved onto looking after training, showroom refurbishments and operational projects. In January 2018, he was promoted to the role of dealer manager for the UK & Ireland, tasked with the growth and expansion of the independent retail network, before becoming sales director in 2024.
