Bathroom retailer Ripples welcomed designers from across its 26 showrooms to stone and tile specialist Ca’ Pietra's HQ on 14th May for its annual Designer Day – an immersive event that the company says is dedicated to creativity, collaboration and continuous professional development.

The day is intended to inspire, challenge and support designers at every stage of their careers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to exceptional bathroom design and customer experience. This year’s event introduced an interactive format, focused on strengthening creative storytelling, enhancing technical knowledge and encouraging innovation across the business.

“Our designers represent the very best of Ripples, and Designer Day is a reflection of that,” said Nicola Crow, sales director at Ripples. “What makes me most proud is the culture we’ve built together. Whether someone has been with us five minutes or twenty years, the sense of welcome, collaboration and shared creativity is the same. Every new designer brings fresh energy and ideas that inspire our experienced teams, and in turn our newer designers benefit from the expertise around them.”

Hosted at Ca’ Pietra’s Devizes-based HQ, the day brought together design experts from across the business for a programme of workshops and collaborative sessions aimed at pushing creative boundaries and sharing best practice. The company says a key highlight of the day was the Ripples Design Creativity Workshop, where teams worked collaboratively on conceptual design challenges designed to encourage bold thinking and creative storytelling. Designers also participated in a Virtual Worlds Workshop focused on enhancing presentation and visualisation skills, as well as a hands-on moodboard session exploring texture, colour and material combinations in an interactive and collaborative setting.

Hamish Smith said: “We were truly honoured to welcome the Ripples designers to our Ca’ Pietra HQ and spend time with such an inspiring and talented group of creatives... Building strong relationships with the designers who specify our materials is incredibly important to us. These partnerships allow us to better understand how people are using our products in real projects and help us continue to innovate in meaningful ways."
