Nolte Küchen, specialists in kitchen and furniture design, has announced the opening of its new franchised Beaconsfield and Cambridge showrooms. Building on a 40-year history in the UK and a franchise foundation established in 2025, which saw the brand launch its first wave of franchise showrooms in Bath, Richmond and Henley-on-Thames, the brand says it is looking to strengthen its retail footprint nationwide. This momentum is set to continue, with a further 2 showrooms in Hawkhurst and Wakefield confirmed to open by early H2 2026.

This expansion brings Nolte's total franchise sites to 7. Each showroom is designed to showcase Nolte’s latest product innovations, meeting a growing consumer demand for high-quality, sustainable German engineering.

Chris Rushby, MD at Nolte Küchen UK, said: “The momentum behind the Nolte franchise model in the UK is building rapidly. We are seeing a high level of confidence from partners who recognise the value of a premium German product backed by a proven UK retail infrastructure. This growth is a testament to the resilience of the Nolte brand and the entrepreneurial spirit of our partners.

“Every opening in H1, and those in our immediate pipeline, represents a strategic step forward in our goal to fill key territories with high-quality showrooms. For us, it is not just about the numbers; it’s about building a network designed with long-term partner growth in mind, ensuring we partner with experienced local operators in the right locations to bring the Nolte experience to more UK homeowners.”

Nolte’s model is anchored by a well-established UK retail network spanning independent retailers, franchise partners and company-owned showrooms. Together, this multi-channel approach enables the brand to demonstrate real-world performance and a refined retail concept, while increasing visibility and accessibility for customers nationwide.

Recognising that franchise partners come from a variety of backgrounds, from experienced designers to multi-site business owners, the brand offers a flexible model designed to suit different experience levels. This is supported by a comprehensive support package covering everything from territory mapping and site selection to recruitment, a full training programme and pre- and post-opening marketing.

While demand remains concentrated across the South East and the commuter belt, Nolte says it is actively exploring opportunities in new regional markets. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the company says it remains committed to its strategy of sustainable growth, focusing on premium showroom locations to further strengthen its presence in the UK kitchen market.
