10 beautiful kitchen designs embracing the rise of warm minimalism
Moving away from cool whites and greys, warm minimalism is all about clean lines and intentional restraint, tempered with colour, tone and texture – Emma Hedges looks at 10 perfect examples of the current trend.
1 - Masterclass Kitchens' Bloomsbury range in Pumpkin Spice is paired here (below) with Blonde Oak, and features a smooth painted Shaker design combined with a Scandi-style warm wood finish. This pairing uses Pumpkin Spice on the doors and frames, accented by Blonde Oak cabinetry, internal storage, open shelving, or acoustic wall panels. "Warm minimalism only really works when the inside of the kitchen matches the ambition of the outside," says Masterclass group sales director Steve Tough. "We've moved away from internal storage being an afterthought... That perfect match between internal and external is what turns a calm, pared-back kitchen into something that feels genuinely premium, considered and built to last."

2 - “A worktop plays a key role in bringing warmth and balance to a kitchen scheme, particularly as homeowners move towards softer, earthier interiors," says Simon Boocock, MD of CRL Stone. "Surfaces in warm whites, taupes, soft greys, stone-inspired neutrals and subtle veined designs can help ground the space, adding quiet luxury without overpowering the overall look." Here CRL's Quartz Pantheon Bronze pairs a crisp white background with bold bronze veining to create a striking marble-inspired surface.

3 - Defined by a vibrant, sun-reflecting colour palette, the new Fenix Giallo Evora by Rotpunkt offers a bold colour option with warm tones. “Whether it’s the concept of slow living with kitchen environments that engage deeply with everyday experiences, or a love of warm, earthy tones, natural materials, and organic texture, the trend for sunbaked interior design is helping to introduce the rhythm of Mediterranean living into the UK kitchen space in 2026," says Matt Phillips, head of UK operations at Rotpunkt. "A style which is known to combine rich wood finishes alongside a sunnier colour palette, sunbaked interiors are looking to shades of baked clay and earthy terracotta, honey yellow, dusty pink, and brick red this year to bring the essence of warmer climates into the kitchen living space.”

4 - “We have designed quite a few warm minimalist Scandi and Classic Bespoke kitchens, always taking a less is more approach," says Darren Taylor, MD of Searle & Taylor. "This does not make the design process less complicated, purely the end result, which should have an understated aesthetic." This warm minimalist Classic Bespoke kitchen designed by Searle & Taylor features a mix of tall and undercounter painted cabinetry with a stained oak island that has bookmatched door fronts and soft curved corners. 30mm-thick Blanco Superiore honed quartzite worktops are also used for the open shelving on aged brass brackets by Corston Architectural.

5 - Caesarstone has introducted 3 new ICON crystalline-silica free (CSF) surfaces – Organic Dawn, Organic Dusk (pictured below) and Organic Dune. Jonathan Stanley, VP of marketing & customer service at Caesarstone UK & Ireland, says: "The beauty of the Organic Collection is that each surface has its own distinct personality, yet together they create a cohesive design family. Whether a project calls for a fresh pale grey, a richer earthy grey or a warm creamy neutral, designers can now achieve the same organic character and visual softness that made Organic White so successful, while responding to today's demand for warmer, more authentic interiors."

6 - Jade Jones, designer at award-winning kitchen design studio Et Lorem, used the connection with the outdoors as inspiration for this warm minimalist kitchen scheme (below) featuring a restrained material palette combined with uninterrupted sightlines. Et Lorem used Rotpunkt cabinetry in a combination of extreme matt Black and Sherwood Flamed finishes with grey Carbon interiors. Silestone worktops, splashbacks and end panels with 20mm or 80mm thickness are featured in a blend of Desert Silver Suede and Poblenou.

7 - “Warm earthy neutrals continue to shape kitchen design, bringing a quieter, more grounded feel to the heart of the home. Soft clay, taupe, oatmeal, sand and warm oak tones are being layered with tactile materials, curved forms and statement surfaces to create spaces that feel calm, considered and deeply liveable. For retailers, this shift presents an opportunity to inspire customers with feature areas that add texture and depth without overwhelming the overall scheme,” says Grant Westfield's product & marketing director Elliott Fairlie. Here, Grant Westfield's Naturepanel Warmia Walnut showcases rich walnut tones and a contemporary slatted design, bringing warmth and texture. Fully waterproof and quick to install, the panels provide a durable, low-maintenance alternative to traditional timber slats, delivering a seamless finish without the need for grout.

8 - “We have recently worked on more than one kitchen project with a pared-back aesthetic where the brief has been inspired by nature," says Tim Higham, founder of Higham Furniture. "On-trend Northern European warm minimalism influences include slim Shaker kitchens featuring textured organic materials such as walnut or stained blond oak. These, combined with neutral colour palettes, pale marble worktops, tiled or wood flooring make for a Scandi-inspired scheme.” This slim Shaker kitchen features tall cabinetry painted in Vert de Terre by Farrow & Ball. The pale wood island has tulipwood frames and maple doors applied with Rubio White Oak stain to give it a Scandi blond oak effect, while the curved inglenook surrounding the Everhot range cooker and the pendant lights above the island soften the space.

9 - The selection of materials played a pivotal role in defining the character of this kitchen by The Main Company. Ash was the primary choice for the cabinets, exuding warmth and sophistication. To create a striking contrast and introduce a touch of modernity, stainless steel was chosen for the range run worktop and backsplash, providing a sleek backdrop that balanced the wood. The grandeur of the island was elevated with an onyx inspired porcelain countertop, and to add character and depth to the design, some of the cabinets were adorned with a fluted texture. The overall vibe is minimalist and cohesive, yet characterful and welcoming.

10 - The new Aalborg door range from PWS is a 5-piece, primed ash, micro Shaker available in both lay-on and handleless sizes. It offers a slender 20mm frame width providing a high-end contemporary take on a classic Shaker door design. Customers have a choice of primed from stock, 10 popular colours through PWS’s Paint Plus service, which benefits from a reduced price and a new lower lead-time of 12 days, as well as the brand’s full paint-to-order palette. It is shown here in Fawn for a warm minimalist look.
