US-based brand Docking Drawer has announced the launch of its latest product innovation, which is set to be available for the UK market in early 2022. The new 220V Docking Drawer Trio is an outlet designed for installation inside of moving drawers to eliminate countertop cord and device clutter. Compared to previous models, the new outlet combines charging and powering capabilities in a single solution for a universal in-drawer power source.
Now available in a more extensive range of configurations, every outlet features 2 type-G sockets, plus 2 to 4 USB-A or USB-C (PD) combinations, to safely connect up to 6 devices. Offered in a white, black, steel or brass finish, the new Docking Drawer Trio outlets are UKCA-certified, comply with all UK recycling regulations, and are said to align with the ‘Right to Repair’ movement.
These in-drawer outlets are designed for simple specification into new or existing cabinet or furniture drawers of any type using only basic power tools. Detailed specification instructions are included with every outlet, and even more technical resources (like mounting diagrams, DXF and STEP files) can be found on the company website.
Current Docking Drawer Trio models are available for purchase now through Häfele Ireland, with the complete offering (including the updated Trio sockets) scheduled for availability through Häfele Ireland and Häfele UK starting in 2022.
