Midlands-based furniture manufacturer Mereway Kitchens has revealed that it has been working with Hayford Kitchens of Birmingham to offer free-of-charge kitchen furniture and work surfaces to the Geoff Horsfield Foundation, to support its initiative with the homeless and vulnerable in the local area.
The foundation was started in 2016 by former Birmingham City and West Brom player Horsfield, in a bid to help provide quality secure housing for vulnerable adults in need. Mereway Kitchens has donated four kitchens to the foundation to date, which have all been planned and installed by Hayford Kitchens.
Mereway Kitchen’s MD, Mark Mills, pictured, said: “We are so pleased to be able to help Geoff and the great team at Hayfords with this hugely commendable project."
Geoff Horsfield added: “Mereway kitchens and Hayfords have provided quality kitchens for the GH Foundation projects and are of the highest quality – this will help so many people get back on their feet and back into independent living.”
