With a theme of 'Unifying Your Interior' German kitchen manufacturer Rational has revealed its design additions and innovations for 2022.
While extending the kitchen into living areas is something that Rational says it has been doing for some time, 2022 sees the addition of new products including folding pocket doors, and cabinets designed for utility, dining and living areas including bedrooms. In addition to these there are 20 new colour variants that comprise wood and stone decors, soft and high-gloss lacquer colours, and real ceramic fronts.
Organisation elements are also in focus with the inclusion of the TA'OR Box which is based on Blum's tried and tested technology. This range is compatible with the existing LegraBox and offers a wide choice of dividers and compartments in wood veneer, soft felt, and luxurious leather offering numerous customisation options for all areas of the home.
To demonstrate the versatility of the 2022 additions Rational has created Loft and Apartment. Rational Loft, pictured here, comprises a large island with 4mm ceramic Dekton fronts on a black frame while the main units in Uno cashmere grey soft lacquer are hidden behind new dark brown oak melamine bi-fold pocket doors. Rational Apartment focusses on flexible, multifunctional living, with units in a new light chestnut repro finish featuring in both the kitchen and living areas to seamlessly blend the space.
