Winchester-based independent kitchen design studio Searle & Taylor beat three other finalists to win the Service Excellence Award 2022 at the Winchester Business Excellence Awards, held at Winchester University on Thursday 9th June. The annual event is organised by partners Winchester Business Improvement District, the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and the Hampshire Chronicle to offer Winchester businesses the opportunity to promote major achievements and to celebrate success.
Searle & Taylor is the longest-established independent kitchen design studio in Winchester. When the business started in 1991 there were three kitchen showrooms in the city; there are now 14 and, as a result, competition is fierce. Searle & Taylor’s personalised approach to customer service has always been a key focus for the brand, which specialises in handmade bespoke and contemporary kitchens, together with furniture for other rooms. It offers full project management and a dedicated after sales service.
The judges highlighted the company’s longevity and the large number of customer testimonials for the brand, together with its many five-star Google reviews from clients highlighting how pleased they were with their new kitchen, the excellent and professional customer service that they had received from owner, Darren Taylor, pictured left, and design manager, Gavin Alexander, right, in addition to praising the work of its installation and painting teams.
