German appliance manufacturer Küppersbusch has unveiled its latest induction hob – the K-Series 8 – EKWI 3740.0S. The honeycomb model offers retailers a choice of five versatile design layouts to allow them to personalise the configuration according to their clients’ needs. This enables them to create an eye-catching island centre piece, using the the individual frameless black hexagons.
The new induction hob boasts 11 power levels, with sensor touch controls for precision cooking. Form and function combined, the model features a special ‘keep warm’ pre-defined 70ºC to avoid pans boiling over, as well as pan detection to achieve the optimum level of heat and maintain energy efficiency.
The new K-Series.8 hob also features safety devices; including a ‘stop and go’ button – ‘stop’ ensures all zones are cut off and to resume cooking the user simply presses the ‘go’ button. It is also equipped with a residual heat indicator to highlight zones that are warm after use, a childproof lock and holiday shut-down mode for peace of mind.
