Sink, tap and showering solutions specialist Abode has announced the formation of a new partnership with London-based innovation hub, Material Lab. Visitors to the studio can now see a newly installed lifestyle display of working Abode sinks and taps in an L-shaped kitchen designed by CKL Commodore Design, and featuring Halifax Oak furniture by Egger with Graphite Grey worktops from Omega Interiors Hull.
Taranpreet Kaur, studio manager at Material Lab, said: “We are delighted to welcome Abode as our latest design partner, bringing a beautiful balance of function and design to architects and designers who want to stand out and be 100% original. Material Lab is proud to serve the design community as a hub for innovation, sharing ideas and design inspiration with the latest samples and pioneering products to promote new levels of creativity. Abode joined our studio in June and so far, it has been extremely well-received particularly the company’s range of statement WRAS approved kitchen taps in both contemporary and traditional styles, and their collection of Abode kitchen sinks.”
The display features a range of products including working Pronteau hot water taps and the Swich water filter device, plus a range of finishes including Matt Black, Antique Brass, Black & Brass, as well as Stainless Steel and Chrome, all supported with finish samples and product literature.
Graeme Blythe, national contracts manager for Abode, said: “This London-based resource will provide an opportunity for customers to view key products from our extensive range in one place.”
