Franke has introduced a new annual maintenance service supporting its full range of Minerva Instant Boiling Water taps. Designed to extend the lifespan of the Minerva system and provide the assurance of stress-free operation, the yearly health check is available to customers across mainland UK who own a Franke Minerva 3-in-1 or electronic 4-in-1 tap model. The launch follows the expansion of the company’s Field Service team and investment in new service vehicles to provide wider coverage across the UK for customers who require technical support with their Franke products.
New Minerva customers can scan the QR code on their tap to register their purchase and they will then receive an email directing them to Franke’s Central Services website where they can book a maintenance service scheduled for when they’ve had the product for a year. Many existing Minerva customers have already been contacted by Franke inviting them to book a health check, however anyone who has ever purchased the system is welcome to sign up. Once a service has been booked, customers will automatically be notified via email when their next annual check is due.
During the pre-booked home visits Franke’s Field Service technicians will carry out a full service of the Minerva system, check the installation and test the water pressure and flow rate from the tap and tank. If required, the technicians will fit a new filter, replace the valves and O-rings, clean the aerator and fit a replacement. Customers who sign up for the service will also receive unlimited priority call outs at a discounted rate for the remainder of the year.
Jo Sargent, sales and marketing director at Franke UK, says: “The new Minerva maintenance service provides end customers and retailers alike with the confidence of a product that is supported by a strong aftercare service. Like any household appliances, instant boiling water taps require ongoing maintenance to keep them working at their best and the annual service for our best-selling range takes the onus off the customer when it comes to maintenance tasks and gives them the peace of mind that their system is working at peak performance.”
The maintenance service is available for an annual fee of £220. Anyone wanting to find out more or to book a service should visit www.central-servicesuk.co.uk/maintenance and complete the contact form, or alternatively they can call 0161 436 6280 (option 2, then option 1). The maintenance service is not available to customers in some remote areas of Scotland.
