Franke has extended its collection of hob extractors with the launch of the new Mythos 2gether Glass, which utilises multi-zone technology to enable the four induction zones to be transformed into two flexible areas able to accommodate larger pans. Each zone is operated by a sliding touch control with white LEDs and has a dedicated timer. There are nine heat levels and a boost for added precision and consumers can also benefit from pre-programmed functions including Thawing, Keeping Warm and Melting, designed to make cooking quicker and easier.
Centrally positioned between the induction hob's four cooking zones, the fully integrated extractor provides a streamlined and efficient solution to create a more open and spacious cooking environment. Using a constant flow of air pressure to discreetly reduce cooking odours and condensation, the powerful extractor has eight operating speeds plus two intensive settings with a maximum extraction rate of 620m³/h at the intensive setting. Ideal for use in multifunctional, open-plan kitchens, it has a maximum decibel rating of 67dB.
Simple to maintain, the black glass surface is said to be easy to wipe clean and the grease filter is dishwasher safe. In addition, the flush-mounted, removable grid is heat and scratch resistant and the drip tray is also easy to access and clean.
Measuring 830mmW x 520mmD, the Mythos 2gether Glass has an A+ energy rating and comes with a 2-year guarantee.
