Duftons Plumbing & Heating Supplies has announced it is expanding its operation with the opening of its 11th branch in the UK.
The New Duftons branch is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and has created four new jobs in the local area. To celebrate the opening, Duftons invited The Mayor of Barnsley, Cllr James Michael Stowe to officially open the new branch. Over 60 people from the plumbing, heating and bathroom sectors attended the launch, with 25 suppliers present from companies including EPH, Ideal Heating, Ideal Standard, Polypipe and Stelrad.
Duftons is the largest independent Plumbing & Heating Merchant in the Yorkshire region and supplies a full range of plumbing and heating supplies to the trade. As plumbers merchants, Duftons offers a wide range of leading brands, such as Ideal Boilers, Polypipe, Daikin Heat Pumps and Ideal Standard to name a few, and also specialises in bathroom mobility equipment.
As the market moves to more environmentally friendly heating solutions, Duftons has expanded into renewables to support the transition from fossil fuels to low carbon and energy efficient technologies. The company now offers a full range of renewable products, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs), Underfloor Heating (UFH), Solar Thermal and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) to provide a more sustainable solution.
