BLANCO has unveiled 2 new stunning Durinox colours to the CLARON range – gold (pictured) and platinum, presenting new options for designers curating high-end kitchen water places.

Expanding the Durinox portfolio, the distinctive velvety matt stainless steel finish is now available in a total of 4 colours for selected undermount sink models in the CLARON range. These sinks can also be harmoniously combined with mixer taps, drink systems and accessories in matching colours to create a cohesive look. This extension builds on the established, award-winning Durinox technology, a patented process that gives stainless steel a particularly hard, durable and velvety matt finish.

Durinox uses a process adapted from aerospace engineering. Millions of tiny steel balls impact the stainless steel at more than 300 km/h, compressing and strengthening the surface. Due to being blasted from both sides and over several production runs, the 1 mm-thick stainless steel sheet has been hardened all the way through the material. By adapting this technology, the company says it creates a distinctive surface that is more than twice as hard as traditional stainless steel.
