Neolith, the Spanish specialist in sintered stone, has accelerated its presence in the UK & Ireland and is continuing to increase the size of its UK team. The team is led by Ross Stewart, who joined Neolith Group as the UK & Ireland new sales senior manager, and who has more than 10 years' experience working in sales and distribution within the sintered stone market.
“Ross joins us with a wealth of experience in the UK stone industry and at a time of great growth for Neolith Group and more specifically in the UK, which is a key market for us,” said Daniel Sánchez, chief commercial officer of Neolith Group. “Ross will be overseeing the expansion of Neolith in the UK and Ireland and helping drive us to being the brand choice of sintered stone for retailers, fabricators, and the Architecture and Design community."
According to Sánchez, this will entail an expansion of Neolith’s sales team to give better support across its key markets of retail, fabrication, architecture and design, to facilitate the opening of a new northern distribution centre near Leeds and to oversee the service from Neolith’s operations team in partnership with Francisco Sanchez, operations manager of Neolith UK. The UK & Ireland Neolith team has currently added six promoters, four regional sales managers and two architects and designer sales managers to its ranks.
Neolith, which is headquartered in Castellón, Spain, has been creating innovative sintered stone surfaces for more than a decade. The company says its surfaces are made up to 98% of raw recyclable materials and do not have crystalline silica added to their formulation. As well as being sustainable, Neolith adds that its products are hygienic, durable, easy to clean and require minimal maintenance, and can be used on countertops and furniture, as well as on walls and floors, covering facades, or in gardens and swimming pools.
