Online bathroom retailer Victoria Plum has been sold to AHK Designs – the owner of furniture retailer Cox & Cox and Beds.co.uk – in a deal said to be worth several million, implemented through a pre-pack administration.
The brand was sold by Endless LLP, the investment firm and owner of Hovis and American Golf, which bought the bathroom specialist in 2019. According to Sky News, Victoria Plum's workforce of more than 300 people will be transferring to the new owner.
Victoria Plum entered administration on 29th September, and shortly after their appointment, joint administrators Samuel James Woodward and Timothy Graham Vance, partners of Ernst & Young, completed the sale.
Endless, which is said to have been exploring the possibility of a sale for some time, had recently injected £3million of working capital into the company to support it during the auction process.
