Abode has revealed it is working with contractor Bone & Bowler, Cherwell Interiors and leading property developer, Regal London, on the capital’s latest boutique Zone 1 development, The Haydon. Part of a multi-use regeneration in The Minories, The Haydon is a new residential development near Aldgate High Street and offers 87 luxury homes that range from studio and 3-bedroom apartments up to the 13th floor, and 3 duplex/penthouses situated across floors 14 and 15.
Graeme Blythe, national contract sales manager at Abode, said: “Creating new homes in complex urban settings means engaging with multiple stakeholders and ensuring meticulous attention to detail for a cohesive solution. The Haydon is a world class site which appeals to international buyers as well as Londoners, so we were delighted to collaborate with Dubai-based bespoke interior design specialists, Cherwell Interiors, the kitchen furniture supplier, and Bone and Bowler, the Kent-based installers. The developer, Regal London, is one of the capital’s leading residential-led mixed-use developers and is committed to net zero carbon developments, maximising biodiversity and focussing on intelligent design so selecting robust, sustainable products like the Abode stainless-steel sinks and taps was vital to the project’s success and very much in keeping with our commitment to ESG and design-led innovation.”
Abode supplied both its Propus Single Lever tap in Stainless Steel and bestselling R15 Matrix large single bowl stainless steel sink. The brief for The Haydon specified innovative, user-friendly luxury solutions which meet strict criteria for ESG, so the Abode products, along with appliances by Miele, are key to the elegant kitchens at The Haydon which were specified by Cherwell Interiors. The extensive brief required a signature wet zone with durability and sustainability designed-in, so the minimal design, WRAS-approval and emphasis on high quality from Abode will assist so many homeowners in this exciting part of the City.
