Blanco unveils BLANCOCULINA-S II Sensor tap at Grand Designs Live

Blanco is looking to capitalise on the popularity of its BLANCOCULINA kitchen mixer range and the rise in demand for touchless tech with the launch of the new hands-free BLANCOCULINA-S II Sensor tap.

Unveiled at the year’s Grand Designs Live Show, which took place from 4th – 12th May at Excel London,  the new tap is designed to offer semi-professional functionality. Its flexible metal hose provides freedom of movement, while the two jets and integrated flow stop allow for an easy switch between ventilated soft jet and a powerful high spray function. The introduction of dual-sensor technology makes it easy to wash hands or other items without leaving fingerprints, germs, and dirt on the tap. The hands-free operation is activated using a wave sensor located on the body of the tap and deactivated by using the same wave motion. Additionally, the tap is set up to sense a saucepan beneath the sensor and will automatically dispense water, stopping the flow when it is removed.

The second generation of the BLANCOCULINA-S, this new sensor tap comes in PVD Steel, while the wider BLANCOCULINA range is available in an assortment of metal finishes, including PVD steel, matt black, satin platinum and satin dark steel. The BLANCOCULINA-S II Sensor tap also comes in variants with different functionalities, including a mini version that makes best use of the space available under upper kitchen cabinets, or a version without the sensor, which is operated manually.
