Max Finaldi (pictured), MD of Essex-based shower enclosure company The Shower Lab, has decided to sell the business, which was founded in 2011, to Irish showering specialist Flair Showers. In an announcement to customers dated 12th June, The Shower Lab said: "We would like to inform you that Flair Showers has acquired 100% of The Shower Lab on Monday 10th June. Max Finaldi has decided to sell the business for health reasons and we sincerely wish Max well for the future."
As part of the Sanbra Group Showering Division's portfolio, The Shower Lab will sit alongside Flair Showers, premium showering brand Majestic and accessories brand Geesa. The Shower Lab will continue to operate independently, and all staff will remain with the company.
Flair Showers MD Martin Murphy said: "We respect and admire The Shower Lab brand and are excited to invest in the business. The Shower Lab will continue to operate independently, business as usual, offering the same products and services to their loyal customer base. All staff will remain with the company led by commercial operations director Dileep Arulmoli. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues on board our team."
With a growing team of 220+, Flair Showers is represented in more than 400 showrooms across Ireland, the UK, Italy and France.
