The German-Austrian group Bora has expanded its range of premium, built-in kitchen appliances with a new lighting collection designed specifically for the kitchen. Whether fitted above worktops, cooktops or dining tables, the new lighting collection features 2 designs – BORA Horizon and BORA Stars, both of which are available in 3 colours: Black, Moss Green and Rose Gold.
BORA Horizon (pictured) is a compact, horizontal, linear pendant light that can be used as either an indirect ambient light above a dining table, or a direct task light above a cooktop, with both light settings being controlled separately from one another in one fixture. With 5 light temperature settings (from cold white to warm white) and an adjustable dimmer function, changing the mood or ambience is straightforward. It also features an adjustable height, and has 4 functions that are user-friendly and easy to operate using hand gestures.
BORA Stars is a vertical pendant that can be used singularly or as a cluster. Its versatility means it can be used in any setting with an individual light being available in both a surface-mounted and built-in version, or with a three-cluster light that can be arranged in a linear or circular configuration. The pendants have been designed to look as though they are floating above worktop, cooktop or dining table.
