Whirlpool certified as Top Employer in UK and Europe for 2021



Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited, parent company of the Hotpoint, Indesit, Whirlpool and KitchenAid brands, has revealed that it has received the prestigious Top Employer award for the fourth consecutive year in the UK. 

Whirlpool EMEA has also been awarded Top Employer Europe, having been certified by the Top Employer Institute for 2021 in five Countries (UK, France, Italy, Poland and Russia).

The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their 'HR Best Practices Survey'. This survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics, such as people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion. 

Andrzej Tuleja, general manager, UK and Ireland, Whirlpool UK Appliances, said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised as a Top Employer once more. Our colleagues are integral to our business and ensuring we provide a safe working environment that supports and nurtures our colleagues is of utmost importance. 2020 was an unprecedented year for us all; we are therefore delighted that 2021 has started with an amazing recognition of the hard work and dedication that Whirlpool invests in its colleagues for now, and the future.”
