London-based kitchen design studio HØLTE has announced its nationwide expansion, making top-tier kitchen design accessible to customers across the UK. Recognising the current disparity in design options, where Londoners enjoy a plethora of choices while those outside the capital often face significant travel expenses, HØLTE says it is determined to bring its exceptional service to more locations across the country, starting with its first stop in Birmingham.
HØLTE was founded to create distinctively unique kitchen spaces that cater to modern living, offering high-quality design at an accessible price point while revolutionising kitchen design through sustainable practices. By balancing the flexibility of bespoke craftsmanship with the efficiency of larger-scale production, HØLTE provides a semi-bespoke design service. This approach makes custom-made, one-of-a-kind kitchens more accessible and affordable.
"We're frustrated by the current lack of access to good design outside of London," said Fiona Ginnett, co-founder & director at HØLTE. "For those living elsewhere, finding quality furniture, flooring, and tiling often means travelling long distances or spending hundreds on train tickets, and we believe that shouldn’t be the case. Our goal is to democratise access to good design and we're excited to expand HØLTE nationwide, ensuring our team is readily available to address any kitchen-related queries."
HØLTE is launching a concession at kin. – an independent furniture and design store in the heart of Birmingham. Lewis Jenkins, co-Founder at kin., said: "We're thrilled to welcome HØLTE to Birmingham and partner with them at kin. Their innovative kitchen designs perfectly complement our focus on timeless Nordic and Scandinavian craftsmanship, giving customers even more options for creating beautiful, lasting spaces."
ONE by HØLTE offers an affordable path to a designer finish, featuring high-quality, hand-finished fronts that fit perfectly onto IKEA or Howdens base units. This system brings the quality and aesthetics of custom joinery at a fraction of the price. The concession showcases ONE Colour, a high-pressure laminate with a recycled chipboard core, and ONE Timber, a pre-veneered MDF that reduces waste by eliminating grain matching.
HØLTE's new concession is now available at kin. store in Birmingham, with kitchen design appointments available to book. Subsequently, the studio says it will announce new pop-ups as part of its expansion across the UK, ensuring exceptional design reaches every corner of the UK.
